Iniziamo con una semplice guida su come disattivare la barra superiore presente in VMware Player (nel nostro caso la versione 14), il motivo per cui si voglia disattivarla può essere per un fattore di comodità, se volete registrare un video e non vi piace vedere la barra nella registrazione o per altri motivi.

 

La soluzione è relativamente semplice:

  1. Andate in utenti/nomeutente/AppData/Roaming/VMware/
  2. Aprire il file preferences.ini
  3. Aggiungete la riga vmplayer.showChrome = "FALSE"
  4. Salvate, riaprite VMware e avviate una macchina virtuale
  5. Dovreste notare che non c'è più la barra in alto
  6. Nel caso aveste necessità di usarla, vi basterà premere ALT + P
